LEADERSHIP TEAM AT MSP
At the forefront of the leadership team at MSP, Rocky joined Mansfield Service Partners in 2020 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He has over 25 years of experience in the downstream energy sector. He previously served as CEO of Empire Petroleum Partners LLC and as CEO of Susser Petroleum Partners LP. He received an MBA at the University of Texas at Austin, and a BBA in Accounting and Management Information Systems at Texas Tech University.
Brian Cannon joined Mansfield Service Partners in 2021 and serves as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & CFO. Brian works in all divisions with a focus on both organic and inorganic P&L growth and process improvement. Brian has over 20 years of experience within the midstream and downstream energy sector. He worked for TransMontaigne as SVP, Marketing and Arthur Andersen LLP in their Business Process Outsourcing department. He has extensive experience in both the commercial as well as the finance and accounting aspects of the business. He received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
James Traylor joined the Mansfield Service Partners team in 2024, where he is responsible for the Operations group, which includes the Fleet Asset & Maintenance and Logistics Group. His daily focus is on P&L performance, daily operations, and asset management. Over a 25-year career, he has held various executive roles, most recently serving as Vice President for Texas TransEastern. He earned a BBA from the University of California, Irvine, while serving in the United States Marine Corps.
David Gurney joined Mansfield Service Partners in January 2024 as Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety. With a career spanning multiple leadership roles, he has served as Senior Vice President of eMaxx Assurance Group, Loss Prevention; Vice President of Operations at Tropic Oil Company; and President of the Deep Draft Lubricant Association. A former Marine Corps colonel with over 4,000 flight hours in tactical jet aircraft, he also served as a Senior Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, along with two Master of Science degrees and teaching credentials.
